The Hover Hound browser extension (the "Add-on") is brought to you by PC Hound ("PC Hound"). This Policy and terms of use (the "Policy") helps you to understand what information we collect from you when you use the Add-on and how we use that information. It also includes some terms relating to the permitted uses of the Add-on. By downloading the Add-on you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of this Policy.
When you use your browser to search for products on certain websites, the Add-on enables your browser automatically to check other similar sites to see if other retailers are offering the same product at a lower price. If that product is available on a different site the Add-on will notify you and provides you with a link to the third party website offering that product.

When clicking through to a partner site Hover Hound will notify you of potential offers with competing brands (or companies). Clicking through to these offers will drop affiliate cookies on End User computer. PC Hound will only use the information that is referred to above for the following purposes:
We may use anonymized data that we hold for a number of purposes such as analyzing the use of the Add-on or the products searched for and we may disclose this information to third parties. None of the information that we retain, use or disclose for these purposes will include any personally identifiable information.
PC Hound may disclose the information collected by it to (i) any third party to whom disclosure is necessary to enable the Add-on operate as described above (ii) any person to whom disclosure is necessary to enable PC Hound to enforce its rights under this Policy (iii) any holding company or subsidiary of PC Hound, (iv) any purchaser of any of the assets or undertaking of PC Hound or any purchaser of the Add-on.
Other than as expressly set out in this Policy or as otherwise required or permitted by law, PC Hound will not share, sell or distribute any of the information that it collects via the Add-on without Your consent.
PC Hound employs security measures to protect the information that it collects from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. PC Hound may retain the information that it collects for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires or permits.
The Add-on generates links to websites and microsites that are operated by third parties. We do not control those websites and microsites and PC Hound expressly does not give any endorsement of or warranty, representation or guarantee in respect such websites and microsites and hereby disclaims to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law any liability in respect of thereof. In addition, this Policy does not apply to those websites and microsites. Please consult the terms and conditions and Policy of those third party websites and microsites to find out how they collect and use your personal data and to establish whether and for what purpose they use cookies.
All copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and to the Add-on including without limitation the name HOVER HOUND are and shall be owned by PC Hound. You may only use the Add-on and information retrieved by it for you for your own personal, non-commercial use and you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or otherwise use the Add-on or any information retrieved by it for you for any other purpose. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from the Hover Hound Browser Add-On or any information retrieved by it except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Hover Hound Browser Add-On or any information retrieved by it requires the prior written permission of PC Hound.
The names, images and logos identifying PC Hound or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of PC Hound and/or third parties. Nothing contained in this Policy shall be construed as conferring any licence or right to use any trade mark, design right or copyright of PC Hound or any other third party.
The Add-on and information retrieved by it including any information regarding or relating to third party products and services, is provided "AS IS" and on an "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the extent permitted by law, PC Hound excludes all representations and warranties (whether express or implied by law), including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy of the Add-on or any information retrieved by it.
PC Hound shall not be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such damage or losses were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Add-on regardless of the form of action.
PC Hound do not warrant that the Add-on will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or free of viruses or bugs. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to implement sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output.
You may withdraw your consent for us to collect and process your data at any time by uninstalling the Add-on.
